Year 2 - Step 1/Level 1 Dedicated

UWorld/AMBOSS

The Qbanks

The overarching key to the dedicated period is to do as many practice questions as possible. Highly recommend completing your questions in TUTOR MODE, as you can see immediately why you got a question right or wrong and thus analyze your train of thought. If you got a question right, make sure that your reasoning was correct, not just a lucky guess.

Be diligent when reviewing your questions, but don't waste too much time going over all the answer choices. You will likely get tested on those different answers in a separate question, especially if they are high yield.

One important tip I would like to impart to you is to not get too stuck on content review. Of course, review topics you are weak on, but you know more than you think you do. Use your Qbank to continue to build your knowledge, not necessarily to test your knowledge. Test and time yourself using the NBMEs instead.

If you are an Anki user and use UWorld, reference the video by Rob in the homepage to learn how to open HY cards based on the Question ID (note: this only works with the UWorld subscription WITHOUT OMT).

Alternative Anki Decks

Duke's Pathoma Deck

A more concise deck based on Pathoma. Just be aware that each card is a bit more "beefy." Otherwise, you can use the AnKing V12 deck found on the main page.

Mnemosyne Deck

A deck based on the First Aid. Otherwise, you can use the AnKing V12 deck found on the main page.

OMM Resources

OMT Review by Robert Savarese

AKA, the Green Book. Also highly recommended, but stick to one resource and you'll probably be fine.

OMMedicine

This website includes a free OMM anki deck as well as study plans: OMMedicine Resources

Demeter Deck V4

Anki deck that encompasses OMT predominately from Savarese, but also OnlineMedEd, UWorld, and AMBOSS (sort by tags): Demeter V4
